As a Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. We design, build and service cutting-edge equipment that helps our customers manufacture display and semiconductor chips - the brains of devices we use every day. We roll in, assemble, connect, and test the new systems until we hand over to our service team and our customers for the manufacturing of wafers to kick off. Being part of the Install Task Force is more than a job, it is a way of life.
