Own sales forecasting, CRM pipeline management, and represent Thorlabs at trade shows and key customer visits - The role includes proactive market and customer development, lead qualification, and the translation of complex customer requirements into tailored photonics solutions in close collaboration with Thorlabs' global business units, engineering teams, and sales organizations. This position owns the development of key customer relationships, the identification of high-potential markets, and the execution of targeted sales campaigns to achieve sustainable revenue growth in Europe. * Identify and develop new markets, customers, and OEM projects, as well as new opportunities within existing accounts, to achieve European growth targets for Custom Photonics Solutions * Technically qualify customer requirements and lead cross-functional teams to deliver customized photonics solutions
