                          The role includes proactive market and customer development, lead qualification, and the translation of complex customer requirements into tailored photonics solutions in close collaboration with Thorlabs' global business units, engineering teams, and sales organizations. * Proactively lead business development and sales initiatives across Europe, including strategic account planning and targeted campaigns - The Industrial Sales Engineer is responsible for driving new OEM business and accelerating the growth of Custom Photonics Solutions across Europe. This position owns the development of key customer relationships, the identification of high-potential markets, and the execution of targeted sales campaigns to achieve sustainable revenue growth in Europe. * Act as Key Account Manager for selected strategic customers across the full sales and project lifecycle
