What are you going to do?
As a Service Resident Engineer, you independently carry out (preventive and corrective) maintenance work on equipment, such as channelizers, Natrixes, conveyors, flex conveyors, dimensioners and transfers at one of our customers in Liege. You are also responsible for:
- Keeping the installed system running and solving all occurring mechanical and electrical faults;
- Checking the technical condition of automated and mechanized storage systems;
- Achieving the contracted KPIs;
- Optimizing the installation and making the necessary adjustments;
- Reporting carried out work;The spare part stocks levels;
- Developing and implementing improvement proposals in response to preventive maintenance or malfunctions.
Your profile
What do we ask?

To qualify for the role of Resident Engineer, you naturally have a strong personality, a hands-on mentality and you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Carrying out maintenance work on installed equipment is your passion and you have a good knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA or comparable PLC control systems.
- Preferably a completed MBO education with a study in Installation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering with 1-3 years of work experience in a similar position;
- Experience with mechanical and electronic components;
- Good knowledge of the French and English language, spoken and written.

As a Service Resident Engineer you are part of the Inther Group Service Team. Your location is based in Liege (Belgium). Every shift you run together with the technical department of Skechers. You report directly to our Teamlead Accounts & Mechanics. On a regularly basis your Inther colleagues pass by at your location in Liege!
