Postdoc - Molecular Biology Research in AML (f/m/d)
wanted of the next possible date for the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Rheumatology in the research group of Prof. Carsten Müller-Tidow.
The Department of Internal Medicine V of Heidelberg University Hospital is a leading center for research in Hematology and Oncology. The location of Heidelberg offers state-of-the-art infrastructure in a highly collaborative environment (NCT, DKFZ and EMBL Heidelberg).
The work of our research group focuses on stem cells and therapy resistance. We aim to understand how epigenetic dysregulation participates in the pathogenesis and chemoresistance of AML. To follow this question a broad number of in-vitro- and in-vivo-models are investigated. The final aim of our studies is to translate the experimental findings into novel treatment strategies for AML patients at diagnosis and relapse.
