We are seeking for a mechanical engineer with strong background in the design of opto-mechanics, laser systems, and/or vacuum systems. One of the main tasks will be the development of novel mechanical hardware for our high-performance laser systems and the future plasma injector, including scientific optical setups, laser packaging and the design of vacuum systems for our laser-plasma electron sources. In addition, the candidate has to coordinate manufacturing with internal and external workshops and has to represent his designs for the project in meetings with our partners.
