Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/d) - Supported Lipid Bilayers (SLBs) on SiO₂ Chips
Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus Dresden
Dresden
Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus Dresden * Dresden * Befristeter Vertrag * Teilzeit - Sei einer der ersten Bewerber - Introduction - Aster Bioelectronics (GO-Bio funded) develops a wearable biosensor for continuous biomarker monitoring in interstitial fluid. The core technology is a robust bio–silicon interface: functional supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) on silicon oxide chips. Biology partners provide proteins/antibodies and labeled constructs; you will translate these into a stable, quantitative SLB-on-chip assay platform. Collaboration with teams at TUD and TUM. * Form and optimize SLBs on Si/SiO₂ chips (surface prep, lipid/buffer conditions, QC). * Functionalize SLBs for protein attachment (e.g., His-tag/Ni-NTA, biotin–streptavidin, other orthogonal chemistries). * Develop and run stability + performance assays (bilayer integrity/reproducibility, protein retention/function, fouling resistance).
