Leads Engineering Development Team (EDT) – mechanism for governing engineering progress * Responsible for project Engineering budget and resource planning and tracking * Proven experience in Systems Engineering or Technical Project Leadership, particularly in the automotive industry. * Creates and maintains detailed engineering level work plan as tool for guiding and proper engineering execution through ED, DV, PV and launch (as applicable) * Publishes and maintains engineering Issues, Risks and Opportunities document * Responsible for proper and timely completion of Design Sign Off (DSO), Requirements Sign Off (RSO), and Safety Sign Off (SSO) documentation for project gates * Primary Battery Systems engineering contact to the customer * Coordinate the design efforts of functional engineering teams from multiple locations to ensure an optimal integrated system that meets overall requirements.
