The Industrial Sales Engineer is responsible for driving new OEM business and accelerating the growth of Custom Photonics Solutions across Europe. The role includes proactive market and customer development, lead qualification, and the translation of complex customer requirements into tailored photonics solutions in close collaboration with Thorlabs' global business units, engineering teams, and sales organizations. * Identify and develop new markets, customers, and OEM projects, as well as new opportunities within existing accounts, to achieve European growth targets for Custom Photonics Solutions * Technically qualify customer requirements and lead cross-functional teams to deliver customized photonics solutions
