What you create
- Collaboration on S1 and S2 work, including work with virus-containing material after appropriate training
- Cultivation and handling of cells, including work on a larger scale up to 25L (working with various bioreactor systems)
- Performing molecular biology work (e.g., isolation, quantification, and analysis of nucleic acids, as well as PCR-based methods)
- Performing analytical work to characterize samples and processes
Preparation, execution, and follow-up of standardized experiments according to internal guidelines - Operation, care, and simple maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Support in the establishment, optimization, and standardization of laboratory processes
- Collaboration in the organization of laboratory procedures and material management
- Support in training new employees in technical laboratory procedures
- Assumption of defined equipment, method, or material responsibilities after appropriate qualification
What you bring along
- Completed training in a technical assistant profession (e.g., PTA, BTA, CTA, or MTLA) or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience with DNA and protein assays
- Previous experience in cell cultivation, ideally also on a larger scale, is desirable
- Experience in the purification of biological samples, preferably with virus-containing material, is an advantage
- Knowledge of cell biology, molecular biology, and/or analytical laboratory methods
- Experience working under S1/S2 conditions or willingness to undergo appropriate training
- Very careful, structured, and reliable way of working
- Strong understanding of scientific documentation and traceability
- Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, and high quality standards
