                        To support this journey, we are building a new ERP team and are seeking an experienced ERP Engineer to play a key role in delivering, operating, and continuously improving ESO's ERP platform during this transformational programme and beyond into operations. After more than two decades, ESO is embarking on a major transformation to replace its long-standing ERP system with a modern, cloud-based Oracle Fusion platform. This is a hands-on technical role focused on configuring, supporting, and optimising the ERP landscape to ensure it is secure, reliable, and fit for purpose. You will work closely within the ERP Team and with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external to translate business requirements into robust system solutions and to support the organisation's transition to, and effective operation of, Oracle Fusion.

                        ALMA Electrical Maintenance Engineer

                        We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience. * Proven experience in commissioning and/or maintenance of electrical power plants, with emphasis on power generation and distribution systems. You will act as the off-site technical lead, coordinating and supporting off-site maintenance activities for ESO deliverables to the ALMA Observatory. * Review maintenance records and obsolescence risks in antenna power distribution and ALMA power generation/distribution; propose and implement mitigation and upgrade strategies. * Deliver tier 3 maintenance, remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and real time guidance for Antenna and ALMA power systems to on-site teams in Chile. * Keep ALMA Electrical and EMC standards up to date and, possibly, aligned with the ESO standards.

As a member of the ESO Directors' Team the Director of Programmes works closely with the and with the other Directors (both bi-laterally and as a team) in the development of overall policy and strategic planning across the Organisation. Reporting directly to the , the Director of Programmes leads ESO's major programmes and oversees the Organisation's programmatic framework.
