For Transaction and Position Management (TPM) team in the Vattenfall Business Area Markets we are now looking for a Working Student (f/m/d).

The Business Unit Operations is responsible for providing Analysis, IT, Project Management and Operational support to BA Markets. The Business Unit consists of highly skilled employees with backgrounds ranging between Mathematics, Engineering and Economics to IT, Project Management and many others.
The Transaction and Position Management (TPM) team is responsible for the management of the Sales Positions in our market areas; and the processing of hedging data. The team acts as the interface between Trading and Sales, delivering prices to Sales, receiving contract information and calculating the financial settlement between Trading and Sales. TPM has a central place in the value chain and therefore has contact with many departments within the Vattenfall Group – Sales, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Reporting, Finance and IT Groups. The team operates in a dynamic environment flexibility and personal initiatives are expected from all team members. We are looking for a Working Student to support us at our Hamburg location (Dammtorstraße 32, 20354 Hamburg).
Within the TPM team, the Working student will be responsible within our production environment and assist with operational tasks and performance improvements. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring operational issues, reporting our portfolio position, fixings ad-hoc issues, aligning with Sales on exceptional cases and spotting improvements with the development team.
