Tender Engineer / Tender Manager (m/f/d)

SeaRenergy is an independent provider of comprehensive services for all offshore wind industry stakeholders. We are actively involved in the whole value chain from T&I concept design and installation to operations & maintenance. We offer consulting and engineering services, as well as offshore marine services, QHSE services and the full range of offshore professionals.
We are currently looking for a
Tender Engineer / Tender Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Manage customer tenders and responses to customer requests and tenders according to agreed deadlines incl.:
o Developing bid concepts, incl. time schedule and resource estimation
o Structuring bid tactics and monitoring tender process and deadlines
o Preparing technical proposals and commercial offers in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, QHSE, Operations, Recruiting, Controlling and with external parties such as legal firms, subcontractors, and bidding partners
o Setting up calculations and project budgets
o Flagging any challenges or risks to the appropriate stakeholders within the tender process and initiate corrective actions where necessary - Constantly strive to improve both process and bids to ensure a maximum competitiveness in the bidding phase
- Review and revise documents sent by client, prepared by internal stakeholders, and coordinate the preparation of these materials
- Monitor tender platforms and identify business opportunities
Your profile:
- Academic Degree in Engineering, Logistics alternatively Business Administration with work experience as price calculator, bid manager or similar
- Proven track record in setting up complex calculations and project budgets
- Experience in evaluating and analysing client tenders
- Ability to derive and structure work packages for internal stakeholders based on client’s tenders or inquiries
- Experience in development of bid concepts and proposal writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in German
- Experiences in the Offshore Wind industry is preferable, but is not a must
- Attention to detail and structured approach
- Ability to keep deadlines even under pressure without compromising quality
- Strong project management skills - the ability to apply project management disciplines to achieve successful delivery within agreed parameters of timescale and quality
