The Technical Writer will document the Global Legal Entity Identifier System (GLEIS)’s services, the GLEIF IT infrastructure and related systems and processes in line with GLEIF policies and procedures. The individual will create documentation targeted at the public as well as internal and external GLEIF stakeholders in this role. The person is responsible for the quality, scope, effort, and timeliness of provided results. We seek an individual with the ambition and skill to work in a highly motivated team:

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation (text, illustrations, e-learning/videos) for internal and/or external use
• Support developers in creating API reference documentation & technical guides
• Define proper format and content of documents in accordance with industry, organization or customer standards
• Organize, write and edit copy and illustrations for technical publications
• Opportunity to help with creation and maintenance of technical formats (XML Schema Definition, CSV Schema, JSON Schema, Excel templates)
• Create specifications and project documentation
• Create standard descriptions and rule works
• Liaise with external organizations, such as standards bodies, to create and edit documents in accordance with their guidelines and formats
• Help designing user interfaces
• Support the Head of IT Development & Operations with editing work
