The position:
For our German Wilhelmsen Ships Service branch we are looking for a full time ‘Technical Sales Specialist - Lubricants & Oil’, being responsible and overseeing our activities and sales by a structured planning, executing and follow up in the Sales Area of Germany, Poland & Baltics. In this function you will report to the Sales Manager Germany, Poland & Baltics.
About the department:
The sales department consists out of many years of experienced commercial and technical sales experts within the maritime industry. The sales department works in close collaboration with sales support, customer service and all related business units supporting sales.
What you will be doing:
In this Sales driven position you will drive growth on lubricant and oil sales across the assigned customer portfolio within the assigned area. Hunt for new business from new customers and actively seek new opportunities with existing customers. Together with the Account Management you develop robust and measurable Sales Activity Plans on Lubricants & Oil and actions assertively to deliver on the agreed targets. Together with the sales team you will monitor and build the sales pipeline to achieve the targets as specific based on quality opportunities on existing accounts (share of wallet), new business and be the number one driving force for increased lubricants and oils account sales across the portfolio. Actively promote lubricants/oil sales internally and provide commercial and relevant technical insight to customers.
Who you are:
You are an eager commercially driven person with an outgoing personality who wants to drive sales growth for the responsible product line in the German, Baltic & Poland territory. You have the skill of gaining good understanding of the customer needs and the ability to provide them with the solutions Wilhelmsen Marine Products offer on lubricants. Having the ability to work independently by structured planning and organizing your own work against deadlines and targets. You are passionate and an excellent communicator who is able to combine the technical competence with the right challenger sales methodology to drive growth for the assigned lubricant and oil portfolio. Further you have the ability to align cross country with the relevant Business Manager and your Technical Sales Specialist colleagues. Ideally you are living in Hamburg or its surrounding.
