The Center of Competence for Hearing Aid System Technology, HörTech gGmbH, in Oldenburg, Germany, is looking for a qualified and motivated

to join our Product Development team as soon as possible. The position is involved in the international project SENSE-Cog and is initially limited until 31 December 2020. After the expiration of the project, we strive a long-term cooperation, if the field of work will develop positively.

Your field of work

• Further development of windows desktop Software in C++
• Independent processing of programming tasks in consideration within defined requirements
• The work includes intensive communication, team work, participation at conferences and fairs and the care of customers on the spot
• Participation in research projects in the field of hearing and hearing aid algorithms

Your profile

• University degree in the field of natural sciences, computer science, audiology or in a related discipline or experiences in audiology
• Excellent software development skills:
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Programming of desktop applications, preferably with Embarcadero C++ Builder or Delphi and the Windows API
  • Experience in MATLAB
  • Digital audio signal processing
• Knowledge and experience in psychoacoustics or hearing research are an advantage
• Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for working with hard- and software
• Excellent skills in spoken and written English
