As an MBOS Software-Architect (all genders) you will work with Software-Architects and colleagues all over R&D on the Software-Architecture of the Mercedes-Benz Operating Systems (MBOS) and its deployment to all the ECUs from high computing platform to mechatronic real-time system.

Your Tasks:

Shape innovations
You and your colleagues are responsible for developing the overall principle based architecture for the whole car software as guidance for software development.

Master complexity
Your responsibility includes the development of overarching architectural rules, patterns and guidelines as well as required processes, technologies and tools to implement and enforce them. Thereby you consider the impact of relevant regulations such as FuSa, OBD, Security etc.

Creativity and freedom
You work in a dynamic environment and you have the courage to leave the usual approaches behind. You use the freedom in design requirements skillfully to achieve the apparently impossible.

Guarantee customer value and Quality
You develop methods and solutions to enforce architectural rules, measure and guarantee exceptional quality by automated means.

Develop innovative concepts
You follow the evolution of new software technologies and consider them in the design of future architectures.

Exceptional communication
You make your progress transparent, get to the heat of the matter in the reporting and keep your stakeholders up-to-date.
