ROLE OVERVIEW
Key responsibilities: Social Media Management, Community Management
Become the brands voice within all our social media channels. Engage with the ghd community so amazingly that even more people fall in love with our lovebrand. Closely monitor and engage with our community and identify trends and topics to radically increase organic and authentic engagement. Thereby drive the follower strategy and coordinate the publishing plans for all social media assets.goals.
Job Role and Responsibilites
CONTENT PRODUCTION & PRODCUTION COORDINATION
- Maintain and steer the publishing plans for all social media channels within the German & Austrian market and thereby build the brand’s community and engagement
- Implement the local social media strategy (channel & content) for all social media channels
- Develop, adapt and drive content ideas and write and curate content, also on events & live-events; hereby collaborate closely with Global headquarters in London, local & global premium influencers, brand ambassadors as well as educators and stylists
- Manage daily, authentic communication as well as great engagement with our social media community on all Social Media channels (liking, commenting, quickly answering questions, direct messages etc, engage and responsibly curate discussions)
- Engage with consumer feedback, proposals and suggestions from our followers on social media
- Identify creative ideas in how to integrate fans’ feedback into the offering and creative content
- Manage the independent coordination of social media projects, including creation of ideas, planning, execution and tracking in close alignment with the content & production coordinator
- Identify, analyse and track rising consumer & professional influencers with the help of professional social media tools and social media agencies
Requirements
- Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or similar
- 2-5 years of experience in online marketing with a preferred focus on social media and community management
- In depth knowledge of social media marketing industry, trends and technologies
- Hands on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Basic knowledge with online design and videography tools; ideally with Adobe Premiere, iMovie (or similar), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator / InDesign
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and German (we work in both languages)
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Networking aptitude
- Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analysing stats
- Avid user of social media channels
- An interest in beauty, fashion, trends and style
- Impeccable organisation skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met
- Proficiency within Apple OS as well as MS Office365: MS Teams, OneDrive, Powerpoint
