Who we are looking for

As an iOS Developer, you will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions. You will write code for iOS applications and strengthen the technology team at Fielmann Ventures. The perfect candidate is an experimental, team-oriented apple fanboy who loves frontend development as much as backend development and who has a sixth sense for the needs of app users.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize and implement native apps with SWIFT from scratch
Improve continuously the functionality of applications
Develop software experiments and prototypes within the technology team
Willing to grow, to share knowledge, and to discuss code and technology topics

Requirements

Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or similar
First proven records in software development
Deep understanding of iOS, its frameworks, SDKs, APIs and practical experience with Xcode and SWIFT
Intuition of physical principles and solid mathematical background
Strong focus on user experience and the user’s perspective
Fluent English (spoken and written), knowledge of German is an advantage
Self-reliant working style and aptitude to work in an interdisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and the ability to participate in a productive manner to discussions
Creativity and readiness to be in uncharted waters
Experience in frontend development is a plus
Experience in image processing, computer graphics, or machine learning (deep learning, neural networks etc.) is a plus
Hands-on experience with mobile sensor APIs is a plus
