Capital Four is a leading specialty asset management firm. We manage more than EUR 15 billion in sub-investment grade credit funds and managed accounts, primarily across High Yield Bonds, Leveraged Loans, Bank Capital, Structured Credit and Private Debt assets. We are more than 100 professionals headquartered in Copenhagen with a global institutional client base.

The investment team currently consists of 40 investment professionals and is looking to add an experienced Senior Transactor, based in Germany, to the growing Private Debt team to lead the establishment of our local German investment presence and to work as part of and further strengthen the team’s wider origination, transaction and research capabilities. The Private Debt team transacts in the Nordics and Northern Europe.

Job description:

Responsible for the origination, analysis, structuring and execution of Private Debt transactions, with a key focus on German/DACH transactions
Continuously work on expanding the German/DACH origination network and reach by proactively engaging with sponsors, advisors, lawyers and other stakeholders
Present analyses and recommendations to the investment committee
Work closely with portfolio managers on the identification and implementation of further institutionalization and improvement initiatives across the organization
Support Business Development with fund raising and client engagements

Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent, with outstanding academic credentials
10-20 years of relevant work experience from an investment banking, leveraged finance, debt advisory, corporate finance, private equity, consulting or similar finance background
A strong analytical mindset and in depth understanding of credit risk across various industries
Profound knowledge and strong negotiation skills of relevant transactional documents, including facility agreements, intercreditor agreements etc.
A strong ability to inspire, motivate and prioritize tasks to ensure that the Private Debt team consistently delivers high quality results
Team-player with an ambitious, curious and proactive mindset and strong work ethics
Excellent communication and high proficiency in written and spoken English and German
