Was dich erwartet

We are currently looking for you to join "Digital Rail Germany" by DB Netz AG in our Digital Base in Berlin. Your tasks:

You develop and specify functions for situation analysis for the future, fully automated rail operation

Together with internal and external partners and stakeholders, You define requirements and the technical architecture of a situation analysis for automated trains

You help identifying suitable technologies for a future situation analysis and You lead projects for technology evaluation and tests of respective prototypes

You have the chance to test and prototype new exciting developments for automated railways and to engage from conception phase to the final realization

Was wir erwarten

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a technical degree (Master’s, Doctorate) in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field of study with a major in robotics

You have several years of experience in the specification and the design of systems or products in a regulated environment, such as e.g. rail, automotive, aerospace etc. and a good knowledge of relevant development processes

Ideally, You have experience with emergency braking systems of autonomous vehicles

You have detailed knowledge about the planning of collision-free trajectories for mobile robots and the definition of related system reactions
