Position Description

Manage one existing product line and drive industrialization across all product lines
Drive the transition to the Next Generation machine product line
Understand customer processes and map customer journeys, thereby developing value propositions
Analyze market data and map market trends
Gather and update competitive intelligence
Develop business plan for new products and ensure its implementation in terms of milestones, volumes and costs (management of gates) together with R&D
Define price targets for new products based on input from Sales, Marketing & Customers
Manage interface with R&D, BD, Sales & Marketing Managers
Drive product launch planning and execution, together with Marketing, Sales & BD and country responsible persons
Prepare and conduct (new) product and service training
Monitor product performance & quality and define actions
Deputy function for Head of PM

Qualification and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field
More than 3 years of experience in Product Management, preferable from the machine tool business
Proven track record in customer focusing and business generating solutions
Sales experience preferred
Impeccable organization skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High attention to detail and strong communication skills
