In order to strengthen our teams in Duisburg / Homeoffice (throughout Germany) we are currently looking for a Senior Manager (m/f/d) Indirect Channel Management GSAP
In your new role as Senior Manager Indirect Channel Management GSAP you will be part of the newly established global ICM function. The role will be commercially focused and will be the key role in developing and executing strategy related to all Indirect Channels within Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland. You will be required to work with regional and global ICM leads to ensure global standards on ICs are implemented within the region and there is continuous improvement in how channel partners are managed by ensuring growth and robust compliance standards. As a member of the GSAP Commercial leadership team you will be required to partner with key commercial, finance, compliance and legal to ensure governance over ICs are successful managed.
Aid in selecting, developing and overseeing Stryker’s entire country/ indirect channel contract portfolio (including NV/Medical/Physio/Future Acquisitions)
Participate in Stryker’s regional and country leadership meetings to ensure Leadership Teams are aligned, understand and execute on ICM global practices
Manage the education and training of business leaders across the country/region.
Help manage negotiations with ICs regarding contracts and IC processes
Deciding on escalated ICM issues from country/regional leaders to strengthen globally established indirect channel management standards.
Develop, implement and refine rigorous IC standards and monitoring processes for the IC lifecycle management
Execute the roll out of global processes locally by refining the global frameworks
Ensuring clear process flows are developed and communicated effectively within the business and all key stakeholders are managed to effectively implement the process
Establish and maintain responsibility framework locally that will be implemented for ICs
Lead / help facilitate leadership meetings to ensure country leadership is aligned and understands global ICM standards and execute same
Mitigate ICM issues and finalize decisions across all the Region with senior leadership
Support development of communicate materials on standards and expectations for sub-IC selection/documentation to be leveraged enterprise wide
Optimize business opportunity through new IC channels, business targets and profitability.
Work with local Managing Director and Franchise leads to define their strategy in terms of Go to Market and channel strategy and develop strategic plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Management or applicable discipline required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
Minimum 8 years experience in a commercial organization spread across sales and/or channel management roles mainly in the medical technology industry.
Commercial / business acumen with ability to build relationships, trust & influence
Self-driven with an ability to work in a highly dynamic and complex business environment
Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others
Experience working with external partners and internal stakeholders to meet deliverable requirements
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions
Demonstrated ability to credibly coordinate between multiple functions and business stakeholders, as well to understand the systems and processes that will be utilized in achieving program objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong numerical and analytical aptitude, proven negotiation skills
Fluent in English and German. Polish is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet the Channel Partners & drive the right behavior and to develop deep relationships
