We are seeking a highly motivated PCB designer to join the Avionics Shared Service Department. The department is responsible for support in engineering the development and test of hardware.

Products for a variety of military and space platforms including fighter aircrafts, transporter platforms, helicopters and satellites.

The hardware development includes:

• Mission computers
• Small form factor computer
• Data transfer units and network attached storage
• Processing and programmable resources (FPGAs, PowerPC, Intel, and ARM processors)
• Avionics I/O (For example: 10G Ethernet, ARINC 429, MIL-STD 1553, PCIe, Discretes, Video, Audio)
• Momentum wheels for satellites, wheel drive electronics

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate is expected to contribute throughout the full product development cycle in the following areas:

• Schematic capture
• Forward and backward annotation
• Component engineering
• PCB layout requirements capture
• Implementation of constraints to the PCB design tool
• Implementation of the mechanical data
• Component placement and signal routing according the design constraints
• Post processing
• Documentation and reviews
