Nature Protocols publishes high-quality peer-reviewed Protocols, as well as techniques-related Reviews, Perspectives, Correspondences, Matters Arising, Commentaries, and Consensus Statements. We cover new techniques and technologies, as well as established methods, used in all fields of the biological, chemical, biomedical and clinical sciences. Protocols are presented in a 'recipe' style, providing step-by-step descriptions of procedures that users can immediately apply in their own research. The clear and accurate presentation of complex experimental Protocols is fundamental to the reproducibility of research and, as such, Nature Protocols is integral to Springer Nature’s vision for the future of scientific publication. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Editor to join our editorial team.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a field of biological, biochemical or biomedical research, and preferably postdoctoral experience, along with excellent scientific judgement and a broad knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by researchers at the bench.
