The group IPP supports research projects as a competence centre for project management and systems engineering. It develops methods for the modelling of complex facilities and for interdisciplinary cooperation in engineering, and it operates the central CAD/PLM environment.
For the requirements engineering and the development of a PLM-based technical documentation of the planned accelerator facility PETRA IV we are looking for a Scientist in Systems Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management.
Collect, organize and record requirements in the central PLM system
Link requirements with CAD design and analyze for consistency and gaps
Collect and organize Technical Design Documentation in the central PLM system, track completeness
Prepare requirements and documentation reviews and perform change management
Support the project team in working with the PLM system
Completed academic higher education in a technical field of study or equivalent skills and experience
Practical experience in requirements engineering and in the use of PLM systems, ideally from work in large projects
Good communication and moderation skills, organizational skills
Well-organized way of working, determination, commitment and initiative, team orientation and flexibility
Very good spoken and written German and English language skills
The position is limited to 2 years.
