Sales Manager Tool Steel DACH / Vertriebsmanager Werkzeugstahl DACH
You are responsible to drive our sales of tool steel with our existing customer base and to identify new potential customers. You systematically analyse the German-speaking tool steel market and continuously gain deeper knowledge of the tool steel supply chain from distributors to end users. You build lasting relationships with mould makers along the automotive value chain in order to improve OEM approval. You screen potential M&A targets, such as distributors, for external growth opportunities. You represent the company in local and international exhibitions and fairs. You know that success in sales can be planned. You report directly to the Sales Director at our plant.
As a candidate, you possess a technical degree and more than five years of experience in sales roles in the steel business with preference of tool steel and/or special steel. You know the German tool steel market in terms of trends, pricing, and competition. You are familiar with working in a multinational business environment. You value maintaining a constant and constructive relationship with production departments mostly Quality & Process and Production Planning. You will fit to us, if you are a results-oriented team player. You are willing to travel, mostly in Europe. You are business fluent in German and English, Italian language skills are an advantage.
