Cellbox Solutions GmbH is a young technology company focusing on new innovative solutions for the global BioTech industry. We’re aiming at improving the lives of others by providing innovative and new cell logistic solutions for the correct handling of living cells and biologic structures.
To support our team in Hamburg we’re currently looking for a
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER / TECHNICIAN (M/F/D) - FULLTIME
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Research and Development projects from concept to readiness for serial production within the given time and cost targets
- Plan and execute application-driven research activities, including responsibilities for work packages in consortium projects with our partners
- Contribute to creation of technical specification in cooperation with Business Development and Product Management
- Contribute to checking and release of design concepts and project definitions
- Define and follow up on project activities and progress of development activities, partially in collaboration with external partners
- Evaluate risks, define and follow-up actions to mitigate risks and ensure product performance
- Create and release drawings and specifications
- Develop, execute and evaluate test concepts and acceptance criteria to verify design and product
- Support in technical discussions in supply chain and selection of components and suppliers
- Management of external collaborators regarding development, tech-transfer and production activities
- Define serial tests and acceptance criteria in alignment with production management
- Support problem-solving for production related and field problems
- Ensure and maintain effective change control and Product Lifecycle Management incl. adequate control of documentation in cooperation with Product Management
- Research on novel applications for living cell logics and new technology trends
- Close cooperation with Business Development, Marketing and our global distribution network and customers
WHAT YOU'RE OFFERING:
- Vocationally trained technician, B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience in product development
- Ideally, relevant experience in Biotech, Medtech or similar
- Broad knowledge in plastics, mechanical, electronics, and software development
- Excellent Project Management skills
- Experience in designing with CAD
- Excellent team, communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and German
- Creative, analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel occasionally
