Your tasks
- You develop and evaluate concepts and tools for semantic data modeling and knowledge representation for new intelligent applications. The focus is on developing and extending semantic technologies to address integration of heterogeneous data, semantic interoperability and knowledge construction.
- Furthermore, you develop methods to support scalable ontology evolution, ontology-driven process automation, use knowledge-driven assistance applications. That also includes prototyping and evaluation of semantic and knowledge-driven solutions for business relevant use cases like Enterprise Data Lakes, Data Marketplace, Digital Twins and highly Autonomous Driving.
- Be part of scouting and evaluation of new technologies, products and services for new use cases and collaborate with Bosch research and development groups and also with relevant external research partners.
Your profile
- Education: excellent Master’s degree and PhD in computer science or a related discipline
- Personality and Working Practice: methodical and conceptual strength and creativity, highly motivated team-player who can also work independently and with motivation for international collaboration and travel
- Experience and Knowledge: solid experience with Semantic Web technologies (i.e. RDF/RDFS, SPARQL, RDF Graph DBs, SHACL) and tools & languages for Ontology design (e.g., Protégé, OWL, Ontology Templates), proven programming skills (e.g. Java, NodeJS, ReactJS) and knowledge of technologies for development and operation of data processing pipelines and web services/applications (frontend + backend), basic understanding of machine learning and experiences with relevant technologies (e.g. Tensorflow, Keras)
- Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken)
