Regional Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)
Key Accountabilities
- Responsibility for local delivery and implementation of sourcing strategies
- Balance regional or global sourcing strategies with local requirements
- Key-Interface between local stakeholders at site (e.g. Supply Chain, RD&I, Local Business), sourcing community and suppliers
- Key participant in the IBP process for the region, focused on gaps in supply and vulnerabilities & opportunities
- Responsibility for commercial negotiations for selected materials
- Acts as the first escalation interface to handle local supplier issues
- Drives change management, value engineering and continuous improvement projects
- Drives Material cost reduction initiatives locally
- Implementation and managing of local, plant specific suppliers
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
- Successful, multi-year related experience in Procurement and Supplier Management
- Good planning / project management skills
- Analytical mind and problem solving approach
- Solid interpersonal and influencing ability
- Proactive, robust and pragmatic approach
- Passion for reducing costs
- Comfortable with conflict
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal skills in German and English
