We are searching a personality located in one of our European plants as
Quality Lead (m/f/d)
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, drive and support the process capability improvements on Novelis Europe key assets
- Ensure a consistent implementation of best practices and tools in the European plants in regard to process control
- Train and develop people from Operations (process and quality engineers) in the use of the specific quality & process control tools
- Monitor the deployment of the Novelis process control across the region and set-up a governance process
- Support our key customers and improve their satisfaction by increasing the consistency of our material performance
Qualifications:
- Master in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or similar
- At least 5 years experience in an industrial production environment
- Understanding of core quality concepts (FMEA, MSA, CP, SPC, LPA)
- Experienced with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
- Strong communication skills to engage with people from shop-floor to senior management
- Team player with high integrity and trustworthiness to create buy-in in different cultures
- Experience in facilitation or leading a project team
