Your Responsibilities
- Developing the DWH in the early stages and subsequently focusing on team management successively
- Defining the scope for data sources integration for implementation in agile philosophy
- Overseeing the implementation of necessary features in cooperation with the team of Data Engineers as well as their prioritization for the team's backlog
- Designing the long-term data architecture vision and a technology blueprint
- Developing and implementing a strategy to ensure data quality for data consumers
- Ensuring the best-in-class data security through collaboration with our IT security specialists
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in a (leading) product management function in the field of data science
- University degree in a tech related program or with focus on quantitative methods (e.g. mathematics, informatics, statistics, data science)
- Knowledge of DWH and data lake interaction as well as data modelling skills (Data Vault)
- Deep experience in SQL
- Profound technical knowledge of AWS cloud DWH infrastructure (incl. Redshift)
- Expertise in AWS lambda and kafka to successfully implement a real-time messaging architecture
- Experienced in stakeholder management (multi-stakeholder environment) and in this context very strong communication skills
- Pro-active and hands on approach to challenges and getting things done mindset
- Fluent English, German language skills are a plus
