The role
A Product Owner at understandAI is a product expert with a strategic perspective within the development process. Success is when the team is sustainably delivering software increments. The Product Owner's focus is on a single product, and this enables the role to support the team in delivering software that meets the team’s goals.
YOUR TASKS
- You energize and align your team concerning our goals and vision
- You are in close contact with the customers and understand their needs and pain points
- You collaborate with our Product Managers on our product strategy and also challenge it
- You perform competitive analysis and you stay up-to-date with the most recent releases of the competitors and their offerings
- You come up with innovative solutions to important customer problems
- You measure and report progress on product deliveries and operations
- You collaborate with your team to ensure the required quality and usability of the product
- You plan two week iterations and the roadmap together with your team
- You help your team and our organization to improve the way we work
Requirements
- You have a proven track record in the field of agile software development, ideally as a Product Owner
- Focusing a cross-functional team to reach a common goal is one of your strengths
- You are experienced with defining minimum marketable features and minimum viable products
- You are curious, open to new ideas, and are able to take different perspectives
- You are a fast learner who is passionate about self-driving cars technology and innovation
- You understand and address challenging technical issues
- You are a strong communicator with excellent facilitation skills
- English and German language skills on a fluent level are mandatory
