PURPOSE OF POSITION
Indirect Procurement is accountable for the supply management activities across all categories of Beckman Coulter indirect spend (e.g., Car Fleet, Travel, IT, Facilities, Operations, R&D, Quality, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance, Professional Services)
Education: Bachelor Degree beneficial or other relevant qualification in procurement/fleet
Experience: > 3 years overall business experience working in a procurement environment managing all aspects of Fleet in the Germany/Austria markets. Experience and understanding of Fleet in other EMEA markets also would be advantageous.
Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or govern mental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, process/workflow diagrams, policies and prepare workshop materials.
Proven ability to influence and persuade stakeholders with strong negotiation skills, basic understanding of the “procurement terminology”.
Personality: decisive, proactive, efficient, confident, result orientated.
Travel: 10-20% is required and may exceed these levels at times (Europe, the US and Asia).
Language skills: German as mother tongue, English fluency required.
