For our office in Rüsselsheim we are looking for:
Network and Information Security Expert (m/w/d)
The tenure for this position is two years.
Your area of responsibility:
- To manage Check Point Gateways and Provider1 in a distributed environment with relevant certifications.
- Supporting LAN, WAN with CCNP certification.
- You are responsible for the design, setup, maintenance and support of the global ZIM network security infrastructure
- To manage ZIM security and networking services (LTM, VPN, IPS, NAC, RSA routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, etc..) including designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the systems as required.
- To review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- To provide installation of new security and networking products for local and remote regions and providing on-going support of these systems after implementation.
- To perform daily network maintenance, monitoring, logging.
Your Profile
- 5+ years in network security and network design, Cisco CCNP (Routing & Switching) required.
- Strong knowledge IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, BGP) Experience with inter-company routing is preferred.
- Understand WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, MPLS).
- Checkpoint CCSA or CCSE with 4+ years experiences managing Check Point Gateways and Provider1 in a distributed environment with at least 1+ years’ experience With Checkpoint R80.20 or above.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, including packet capture analysis.
- 3+ years of related experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong in-depth technical knowledge in security engineering, computer and network security, strong authentication, and security protocols.
- Knowledge with Azure cloud, network routing and security protocols and implementations: TCP/IP, SSL, IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, VLANs and BGP.
- Experience and knowledge of enterprise IT concerns and technologies, including but not limited to VPNs, network security, encryption, authentication, application-level network protocols, IPSec, Firewall, SSH, SSL, DES, IPS, wireless, Windows security & administration, LAN/WAN, and TCP/IP required.
- Ability to deal with changing priorities and multi-task several projects.
- Experience in building network management tools and creating HLD/LLD documentation.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with customer service orientation
- Fluent English (read/write/speak).
