To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced
Market Developer (m/f/d) - Recycling - Home Office
Your tasks:
- Identify and prioritize potential business development opportunities and develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners to build future sales pipelines.
- Interface between the customer and DS Business Development, R&D and C&O. Definition, prioritization and drive of development projects up to the product acceptance phase.
- Contribute to the formulation of alternatives for the various medium and long-term scenarios and to the preparation of proposals to support management decision-making processes.
- Contribute to organic and inorganic growth initiatives by supporting feasibility and viability assessments, business case building, due diligence processes, delivering relevant market-specific input, etc.
- Identify product applications, determine material requirements and/or specifications for the targeted applications and create customer value propositions.
- Identify profitability drivers and formulate business guidelines for the development of the product and customer/supplier portfolio.
- Continuous monitoring of market fundamentals and trends.
- Developing calculations and price proposals to support market penetration in line with the marketing strategy.
- Regularly plan and deliver external and internal presentations, training and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Representing the company in trade associations, at industry events and trade fairs; promoting product awareness among potential partners, industry influencers, building an industry network.
Our requirements:
- Completed studies in business administration or comparable education in the economic and technical field (industrial engineering, petrochemical technology, process engineering, packaging technology or similar).
- Relevant professional experience as a market developer, preferably in the field of petrochemistry and recycling
- Expert knowledge in the field of plastics processing and recycling
- Excellent communication skills
- Initiative, confident manner and assertiveness
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel and very good written and spoken English; knowledge of Hungarian/Slovak/Croatian is an advantage
