Manager Market Intelligence (*)Your responsibilities
- Set-up and further development of data analysis on ista’s markets and the corresponding landscapes/eco-systems, taking into account aspects such as macroeconomic development, changing market players and technological trends
- Provide the management board and the regions with an independent, integrated and balanced perspective of market developments
- Bridge Market intelligence and strategy
- Evaluate potential new growth opportunities for attractiveness to fuel diversification from consolidated market data
- Synthesize data, identify key market developments, and prepare analyses to support senior management in decision-making
- Develop, manage and distribute market and competitor intelligence through various data sources
- Manage relationships and foster exchange with internal and external service providers/advisors
- Take ownership of the market intelligence database
Your background
- University degree in business administration, IT, mathematical economics or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advanced data analytics and market- and competitive intelligence in a consulting company or corporate development as analyst or researcher
- Expert knowledge in the fields of data analytics, market intelligence, competitive intelligence and customer insight
- Strategic thinker with a high customer orientation and a strong ability to recognize changing market environments and demands and to transfer them into innovative business strategies
- Transformational skills, ability and willingness to challenge existing structures and processes but with a high ability to settle and achieve consensus
- High ability to prioritize tasks regarding feasibility, impact and direct consequences for business as well as mid- and long-term implications
- User knowledge in MS SQL, MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and research databases
- Excellent communicator with the ability to actively interact on all levels and very good at building mutually beneficial business relationships
- Self-driven personality with hands-on mentality who thinks in solutions and turns ideas into reality
- Ability to thrive in a demanding environment, with a willingness and enthusiasm to “roll up sleeves” to accomplish goals
