Representation of Automotive Aftermarket interests at various Industry Associations globally and serve as the main day-to-day policy representative of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, driving it’s policy agenda globally
External coordination of the association work , 1st level contact and further deepen relationships with relevant officials, trade associations, industry initiatives, non-governmental organizations, and other influential partners.
Internal coordination within Schaeffler Aftermarket and Schaeffler Group to achieve one voice on policy matters impactinmg the Aftermarket. Consolidate and further develop the link between short term business targets and industry initiatives
Development / coordination of a global communication network with the regions of the group to ensure fast and targeted activities with the associations
Preparation of positions papers on key topics (eg. Right to Connect, Access to Data and Repair Information etc..) together with the relevant stakeholders
Develop the public / private partnership activities in order to further the R&D initiatives from the Group/Division
Participation in working groups / events of associations and help coordinate events
Preparation of committee meetings (CLEPA, AAMPACT, VDA etc ) for management
Coordination with Schaeffler Global Affairs team, Berlin on behalf of Automotive Aftermarket Division
Coordination of Competitor Contacts and Associations Register (CARe)
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business adminitration, engineering or any other relevant field
At least five years of experience in automotive or automotive aftermarket industry and / or Associations / EU related affairs
Legal knowledge is beneficial
Organizational and communication skills with a high target orientation
Very good analytical and conceptual skills
Leadership personality with a great social competence in an international context
Business-fluent English speaking and writing skills, German and other languages are an advantage
