In the role as Leadership & Competence Manager, you are responsible for localising and implementing INGKA Group Leadership and Competence Development concept, framework, approach and process as well as co-creating with the Centre of Expertise to ensure that the right leadership and competence solutions to deliver on business targets are in place. You secure a great customer and co-worker experience through strong leaders and highly competent co-workers.

Your ability to implement long-term plans, set budgets and goals and use the latest HR trends and innovations enables IKEA to operate more efficient as a people focus organisation. You have strategic overview how to plan, attract, grow, deploy, reward and support co-workers & leaders and their careers in IKEA on country level, also to secure potential successors for key positions in IKEA. You have an interest or experience in using data from digital sources to gain insights of IKEA customers for business purposes and decision making.
You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and effectiveness in leading multiple specialist team with the capacity to handle multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces and tasks and apply business knowledge and leverage digital best practices to achieve organisational goals and objectives. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility. You express ideas and opinions effectively - with ability to influence and inspire.
For this role we believe you have minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience, minimum 2 years of experience in Talent Development (leadership development/competence management/succession management) and experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating in global projects. You have a knowledge about localising, developing and maintaining a competence model that supports the talent management needs of IKEA, also by analysing learning needs and localising learning delivery to meet the competence development needs of the co-workers. And most of all, you have a high passion for vocational learning and developing people. You are highly interested in the future of learning and the digital learning landscape.
