Job Purpose/Role
We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) to strengthen our Equity Valuation, Investment Controlling & Risk
Management departments in Munich as of April 2021 for a minimum of three months.
Key Responsibilities
- Controlling and risk management of Allianz’ direct equity infrastructure, renewables and private equity fund investments
- Support in the valuation process of Allianz’ direct and indirect portfolio in close collaboration with the
investment teams - Preparation of risk and model analysis at investment and portfolio level
- Carrying out market and competitor analysis (e.g. using Bloomberg and Capital IQ)
- Support in the onboarding of new investment strategies from a valuation and risk management
perspective - Preparation of presentations for senior management, Allianz committees and external investors
- Further development of investor reporting
- Ad hoc projects on valuation, risk, accounting, planning and IRFS reporting topics
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience
- Advanced studies in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or a comparable degree program ideally specialised in finance, controlling or risk
- First class internship experience preferably in the areas of corporate finance or risk management
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent work style
- A high level of motivation, excellent communication skills and strong team spirit
- Written and oral fluency in English required, working knowledge of German is a plus
