IT System Administrator (m/f/d) in e-Commerce
YOUR POSITION
As our IT System Administrator (m/f/d), you are responsible for setting up, maintaining and documenting our operational hardware and software, thus ensuring that all our employees make the most efficient use of our technology. In detail, this includes the following tasks:
- You support our employees in all technical matters by taking over the support, monitoring and optimization of the ongoing IT operations while using our ticket system
- You take care of the reliable operation of our mySQL servers, take care of their extensions, updates, backups and monitoring and function as a contact person to Oracle
- You take responsibility for the entire network topology, including the setup, expansion and monitoring of the infrastructures across 5 international locations and one data center
- Furthermore, you continuously develop the network to avoid bottlenecks and ensure the smooth operation even in trouble situations
- For our Windows domain, you develop problem resolutions, perform configurations in the AD Server and Hyper-V Server environment, and optimize the backup infrastructure
- In addition, you administrate our Linux servers with updates and monitoring
YOUR PROFILE
If you enjoy taking on responsibility and meet the following requirements, we fit together perfectly:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT administration, preferably in a start-up environment or the digital industry
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or comparable or a completed technical degree
- Extensive experience in the administration of Windows servers and Active Directory domains
- Ideally knowledge in working with mySQL servers and Linux servers (operation, setup and optimization)
- Fluent in English (C1 level) and advanced German skills (B level)
- Willingness to work flexible hours in case of problem situations or technical faults
