Einleitung
With more than 30 years of experience in Partial Discharge (PD) measurement, Power Diagnostix is a market leader offering the broadest range of products for portable, on-line, off-line and monitoring PD solutions. To enhance our experienced team, we are looking for a motivated and qualified R&D Head to strengthen our team in Aachen.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Assess emerging technologies and map them into product development roadmaps
- Define technical product concepts and product architectures
- Provide a technology funnel for next generation Power Diagnostix product
- Own & Manage product architectural design from feasibility to completion for R&D projects
- Plan and deliver complex products on time & budget with expected quality levels while meeting international standards and regulations in the electronics industry (ISO / CE / FCC)
- Lead the Power Diagnostix R&D team responsible for new product innovations
- Deliver new technologies by delegating, coordinating and controlling the activities within the development team and contracted external resources
- Ensure an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment by motivating, challenging, and coaching the department's employees towards growth
- Document all phases of research and development
- Influence activities outside the R&D scope (e.g. finance, marketing, operation, service)
Ihr Profil
- Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering with particular experience in partial discharge, high voltage technology, electronic device design, telecommunications, signal processing)
- Minimum 10 years experience in conception and architecture of complex systems (development of electronic, mechanical, components, modules, systems)
- Minimum 5 years experience in leading an R&D team
- Demonstrated high commitment and reliability while delivering new products
- Proven track record of innovation
- Takes initiative, eager to challenge status quo and reach ambitious goals
- Independent but collegial mindset
- Willingness to look beyond the box and contribute new ideas
- Team cooperation across departmental boundaries
- Fluent in English (the firm‘s business language)
