As the Head of Engineering (m/f/x) you will be a highly important part of the Studydrive family and lead the software development and QA processes of the company.

What are your tasks?

Take on a leadership role, overseeing our software (web & app) and QA engineering teams, in an agile environment
Constantly improve, evaluate, and monitor dev/QA processes
Ensure high standards of delivery and operational excellence
Take ownership in planning, managing, and executing software projects
Provide mentorship and lead regular feedback talks with your direct reports
Structure and lead the hiring process
Cooperate closely with the CEO, CTO and Head of Product on tactical and strategic planning

What are you throwing in?

Experience in building and leading one or more significant software engineering teams within a scaling organization
Hands-on experience in front- and backend development
Interest in leading software technologies and trends
Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
Passionate about people and improving the environment and culture in which they work
Very good English, German is a plus
