Our client is a well-respected online broker who have developed their EU presence in the last 5 years including a well-established network of EU offices. They are seeking a Head of Compliance to be based in Frankfurt and lead the European Compliance function.
Your tasks
- Manage the EU compliance team with responsibility for all areas of regulatory and financial crime compliance
- Review, development and implement all areas of the compliance framework using Group policies with local adaptations when required
- Work with the global compliance leadership to enhance and develop Group compliance policy
- Maintain and proactive and collaborative relationship with European regulators
- Ensure all staff are provided with suitable compliance training and support a strong compliance culture across the business
- Take a lead role in any special investigations or policy reviews that may take place
Your profile
- Significant working experience of manging a compliance team or function in a traded product environment
- In depth understanding of compliance regulations in Germany and/or multiple other European jurisdictions
- Fluent, legal German language skills are preferred
