Global Payroll and Time roll out Manager

As Global Payroll and Time roll out Manager, you will contribute to harmonizing the process and system landscape for Payroll and Time at Boehringer Ingelheim (BI). With this global responsibility, you will travel occasionally and lead country projects in many of our locations.
Tasks & responsibilities
In your new role, you lead country projects implementing new processes and technological solutions.
This includes negotiating the project schedule with all parties, tracking and communicating progress and determining any potential impact on the global roadmap and service delivery in general.
You identify improvement opportunities and develop proposals by fostering the consistent dialogue with identified key stakeholders such as Country HR, Global Process Managers, Centers of Expertise (CoE), Regional Centers, and others.
In the projects, you align with global and local stakeholders to ensure a timely and correct provision of all BI deliverables and their adherence to our global standards as well as necessary country specifications.
Together with IT, CoEs and HR stakeholders, you ensure the realization of the Blueprint (systems and processes), the configuration and - if applicable - developments. This also includes ensuring User Acceptance Testing and the creation of training materials.
Furthermore, you prepare the final Go/No-Go decision and ensure the necessary quality control in the project e.g., through quality checks on project plans, Blueprints and other documentation.
You monitor the cutover to the production environment, and support the project thru Hypercare.
Finally, you serve as the first level of escalation for countries and vendors.
At least Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Several years of relevant work experience in the Payroll and/or Time environment as well as sound knowledge of HR processes, HR policies, and Key Performance Indicators is essential
Profound experience in project related work - ideally as a project lead with some experience in Business Process Excellence and in change and stakeholder management - is a must
Ideally experience with BI target solutions such as SAP PY/PT, ADP or other global payroll vendors, Success Factors Time Off, Interflex, and Workforce
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to communicate and negotiate with a broad variety of levels of the organization as well as with external parties
Good communication skills in English; additional language skills such as French, Spanish, Japanese, or Chinese would be an asset
Willingness to travel occasionally (around 20%)
