Deine Aufgaben

Your tasks:

Evaluation and realization of Ocean Freight Tender Opportunities, focus on global and large regional Tender Opportunities, final alignment and execution of pricing between the involved regions & trades, optimization of rates, routings and services as well as alignment/interaction with Head of Global Trade Management, Tradelane-Manager, ROFs, regions and KAM & Sales
Consult with trade for final pricing decisions and set competitive pricing, execute final health check on tender opportunities
Establish a sound understanding of buying terms on trunk routes and a clear understanding of cost standards for local charges and haulages
Support growth strategies for ocean freight focus accounts
Understanding, alignment and close communication of tender account requirements with trade, regions and global pricing units
Develop and support ideas to improve the internal pricing process with a view to automatization and standardization
Support further development of tender pricing related IT tools, support and participate in customer meetings (face to face and virtual)

Dein Profil

Your profile:

Several years experiences in the ocean freight environment
Advanced understanding of cost elements within the door to door ocean transport chain and knowledge in handling tender opportunities
Solid MS Office tools experience, in particular Excel
Advanced analytical skills, detail oriented
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Ability to think outside the box
Fluent in English
