The global function Accounting Operations & Treasury supervises the operational business processes in the SAP financial system of Allianz Technology, the IT Shared Service Provider of the Allianz Group. The team ensures a proper financial closing jointly with Closing & Reporting as well as the Regional Finance Officers. In consideration of right shoring the global finance processes are coordinated, executed and controlled in close collaboration with the near-shore team Accounting Operations Support and outsourcing provider. The Operations Manager understands the operational charging processes (incoming related to Purchase-to-Pay and outgoing related to Order-to-Cash) of Allianz Technology and coordinates the requests from internal and external stakeholders and its execution by the respective team members. On an ongoing basis, the Manager controls the fulfillment of the contractual obligations of the outsourcing provider and the staffing coverage to ensure the required quality of the financial closing. In order to fulfill the duties, the manager coordinates two resources in the near-shore center in Bucharest dedicated to the field of responsibility.
