We are seeking for our Global Accounts division a Global Account Manager (GAM) for our Data Center offerings. The GAM will work with some of Lenovo’s largest and most complex Global customers, and will be part of the Data Center Sales organization aimed to be the best in class sales force in acquiring and maintaining the customer relationship via a dedicated sales force made of a combination of Inside Sales and Global Account Managers.
The GAM will be responsible for managing and expanding the e2e client relationship across the total Lenovo Data Center portfolio (Server, Storage, Networking, Solutions and services), driving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovo’s largest and most strategic accounts. This is a client facing sales role requiring deep industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business, and expertise working large deals at the C level.
The GAM will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for leading effective IT deployments. And more than that will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning.
