HP is looking for an experimented, motivated, and energetic Payroll Leader in Germany to join the European Payroll team.

Responsible for delivering accurate and on-time monthly payroll for HP Germany in compliance with local legal and company policies.
Legal watch and ensure compliance with our payroll provider.
Drive and validate payroll system configuration evolution as new company policies or new programs are being deployed.
Ensure end to end processes are properly defined and executed.
Driving any issue resolution to achieve desired results.
Act as the HP representative in front of local authorities on payroll-related matters; Lead any tax and social security audits.
Act as a trusted partner.
Internally with our critical local and global partners, in particular, HR and controllership building a healthy business relationship.
Managing payroll provider relationships at the local level.
Provides mentoring and guidance to Payroll analysts.
Seek for continuous process improvement & automation, prioritize, present to management and drive enhancement.
Country-level payroll lead for the implementation of company projects in coordination with key stakeholders such as HR, Controllership & IT teams.
Bachelor or master’s degree, preferable in business administration with a focus on financial management.
Advanced degree or accounting, payroll certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
Typically, 6 - 8 years of experience as a German payroll specialist.
Typically experienced in a variety of payroll functions and systems.
Experience in driving tax audit, nice to have.
Experience in multinational environment would be nice to have.
Knowledge and Skills required:
Strong understanding of the payroll framework, and payroll government regulations.
Experience with SAP Payroll or ADP Global View is a must.
Experience in collaborating with multiple functions within the country (legal, HR, controllership).
Excellent communication and influencing skills; ‘customer-oriented.’
Excellent analytical and project management skills.
Good project management skills.
Good team-work skills.
Strong business application skills, in particular experience with Microsoft Excel and collaboration tools such as Teams.
Ability to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope.
Fluent knowledge of German and English.
Digital skills are a plus (Power BI, Intelligent Automation).
