To support our FP&A Team in Troisdorf we are looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/d).
Job Description
- Drive annual/quarterly budgets, in-quarter revenue and cost forecasts, as well as financial deliverables across the organization
- Partner with multiple stakeholders from R&D and SG&A regarding budget and cost analysis
- Assist with financial reporting and presentations to senior leadership
- Develop management reporting tools to track strategy performance
- Oversee, design and distribute monthly reporting packages to senior management and budget owners, summarizing functional area financial results
- Develop detailed explanation for variances between actual and plan on a monthly basis for assigned functional areas
- Partnership with corporate accounting and compensation on forecasting and accruals
- Drive continual process improvements, framework enhancements in support of generating meaningful data-driven insights
- Ad-hoc analysis as required and self-initiated projects are encouraged
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
- Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team player with proven ability to collaborate with and influence business partners
- Strong analytical skills and forecasting experience; ability to communicate financial implications/business impact and provide recommendation
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to proactively take ownership over activities and projects
- Accounting experience is recommended
- Advanced Excel skills are essential
- Skilled in ERP software (e.g. SAP), database apps (Access or equivalent), report building (ClickView, Jedox, or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English are mandatory
